843 ACRES is the devotional blog affiliated with The Park Forum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to promote Bible engagement in the urban church. In 400 words or less, 843 ACRES provides a devotional reflection on daily Bible readings. It follows a modified version of the reading plan created by Scottish minister Robert Murray M’Cheyne (1813-1843), which has been recommended by Ravi Zacharias, Charles Spurgeon and John Stott. Our version cuts his plan in half so that busy city folks can keep up! We will read two chapters per day and cover the entire NT and the Psalms as well as the latter half of the OT. On weekdays only, 843 ACRES provides a devotional reflection on weekdays only. Therefore, on Fridays, we list the full weekend readings in the devotional post.

Hi
Came across you today simply because, for some God-ordained reason, you started following ME in twitter!! (@mae_doc)27th Jan blog content coincided with more than one topic which had cropped up in our worship just TODAY, so I knew there was a significance.
I’m a God-loving, God-longing, family doc here in UK – about 20 miles north of London. Married, 2 grown up daughters, one of whom is married with a new baby, We’re a part of Christian International Europe, and joined to a new wineskin church called Thumbprint, the mission of which is to coach and launch individuals to fulfil their unique God-given destiny, taking their unique authority in whichever sphere God has placed them in – for me, that’s family and medicine and healthy innequality, for instance – and also to promote and build up FAMILY as God’s template for life-giving units – and to explore what it means to be a corporate expression of the nature and grace of God, and to press into Him in worship, prayer, declaration and the prophetic to lay hold in the heavenly realms of that which releases His Will and Purpose on earth,
So that’s me! I don’t often tweet, and what I do is a mixture of health and social care stuff and Kingdom stuff, because I believe both are a part of my portion and my passion. I long to see the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of out God. and believe that in these austere times Christians have a unique opportunity to be a demonstration and manifestation of God’s resource, strength and solutions where man runs dry and destitute. Rise up, Esther, this is your day!!
Thanks for following me: now you have some idea who I am, if there’s anything I can help you with, shout. I’ll keep you on my tool bar and peak in from time to time.
Every blessing. Keep empowering people to be hopelessly abandonned to Jesus wherever He has planted them.
